There’s been a lot of campaigning lately in regards to the Orlando Orbbies blog competition, over at the Orlando Sentinel. I just wanted to make some clarifications. One, you do not have to live in Orlando to vote for the blogs. Two, you can vote for whatever blogs you like. Three, if you vote more than once per day, each vote over one (in each category) will override the first vote. I do recommend that you take the time and visit over there and look at some of the blogs in the running. Voting ends November 20th, at 5pm Eastern.
http://www.orlandosentinel2.com/data/orbbies/voting/
You do have to register to vote. When you try and vote (if you are not registered) it will lead you through the process, and it is a secure connection.
There are some very good blogs in the running and you are not locked into voting for a specific blog. This has nothing to do with Caylee or Casey, so vote for the best ones you see. I only mentioned and tagged their names to this, to point out that voting for a particular blog does not in any way help the cause for Justice For Caylee. If that particular blog is your fav, by all means vote for it, if not, then don’t. Take a look at all of them, if you have the time. Just being fair and balanced.

Hi ya Niecey! There are Many GREAT blogs in FL. Believe it or not, they don’t bash other blogs!
I wish you were running, Niecey. Do you live in Orlando? I think I knew once if you did or not but can’t remember. You have great “articles” and you treat your bloggers with great respect, there’s never any infighting and bickering on your blog which is rampant and as regular as clockwork on some others where just posting an opposing opinion can be fraught with the peril of being viciously attacked if not in line with a small handful of regulars. Yikes!!!! However 99% of the blogs I’ve read are respectful of different opinions and can be a wealth of information, including yours. There are a lot of quality blogs in the running though and I have been voting every day!
Hey Humble! I agree, there are so many good ones! Wow! That’s good to know, I can’t stand blogs that are there to bash other blogs!
Hey Bees! Thank you my friend! No I don’t live in Orlando, but I do thank you. That is a very high compliment. I believe you treat others the way you want to be treated. I don’t like the fighting and bickering, it’s just a waste of time and energy. Most blogs are like that though, where they treat others with respect. I do agree there are so many good ones in the running. I have been voting everyday myself.
Hi Niecey! How can we vote for Niecey’s blog, Humble, It’s a Mystery to Me, and MotherClucker!!!!! To me these blogs should be on the top of the list!!!!!!!! If there’s a way to vote for these that I just mentioned who treat people with respect and kindness COUNT ME IN!!!!!!! I will vote for these blogs in a heartbeat!!!!!!
Thanks for the info Niecey.
I would also like to say thanks for being a welcoming hostess. I never fear speaking my mind here. You never talk to your commenters in a condescending manner when you happen to disagree with them, and you respect everyone’s opinions. Its very refreshing.
Hey Nancy! I think you have to be a resident of Orlando to be nominated. None of us are. But on behalf of all the blogs you mentioned, THANK YOU! We really appreciate that.
Hey Ostella! You’re welcome and thank you for the compliment. It means a lot.
niecey
Thanks for making it clear how to vote, and for reminding people that there are lots of really good blogs in Orlando. All the ones nominated have worked very hard and put a lot of time and effort into making them “award” worthy.
What you all said, I agree 100%
Hey Mystery! You’re welcome. There really are a lot of good blogs in Orlando. I do agree they have all worked very hard.
Hey John! I think we all agree there are so many great blogs in the running.
Well, even though you are not officially in the running because you don’t live in Orlando, *you DO have “the people’s” vote!
* Niecey, Humble, Mystery & Mother C.
xoxoxoxoxox
We thank you Dear Bees! xoxoxoxox
I wish we could have known about it in the nominating stages as we could have nominated JIF.
Niecey, I agree! John In Florida, Florida being the key word here, we should have nominated him! He has a great blog! Good to see you JIF!
Niecey you have such nice people here!
We should have Humble. He does have a great blog!
Thanks Humble! Many of us frequent your place too.
I think we have a GREAT group of friends!!!
John, I miss your blog! It always made me go
please come back soon…… Prrrrrrtttty pleeeeeeeeeez……
You are greatly missed John!
Haha, thank you all. I don’t live in Orlando, I live in Lake County about 20 mi from down town Orlando and about 12 mi from Disney. We are in the mountains of Florida and away from all that crime. (Back yard elv=200ft)
I will get back to my blogs asap and parodies. I just returned from two weeks in NC and now back to my bike riding and walking. I have been teaching myself “page flipping” and my first attempt is here, (just a bunch of random photos). This is done in flash as are my parodies. (Shhhhhh, also hunting trolls).
http://home.roadrunner.com/~inskeep/john%20inskeep.html
Niecey, I think we do too ALL have a great bunch of friends, blogging buddies, etc…! Hey maybe I should make a blog for all of us to post on! hummm, I will have to get a job to do that! But it would be great to have a BIG blog going at once written by many……
JIF, I don’t care where you live, you live in FL! You have a GREAT blog and I enjoy your parody’s! I don’t like I have to log in, but I understand!
“I don’t like I have to log in, but I understand!”. Humble, I don’t have an answer for that except maybe my blog was just to old. I’ll work on it.
John, Thank you so much for sharing that. I really enjoyed that. You have a great looking family! We look forward to having you back. I really like that page flipping thing that’s cool! (I didn’t hear a thing about the t word.)
Humble, I agree and that would be so much fun. Ooo, Maybe we could write a book on our adventures in blogging?
It’s a setting.
There is not much left for me to say…I agree with all of you. I do thank you Niecey, Mystery, Humble, John and MotherClucker for allowing people to come and express their opinion without worries of being beat down because it isn’t the same as yours.
Thank you!
Nicey-I voted but was surprised to see that it was not a writer’s Blog competition but more a popularity contest. Where were the other writers on Word Press? Since Blogs are about current events are we voting for the Blog owners interests and topics or just the Blog owner? It’s okay with me but I thought a little competition would have been in order.
It’s like going to the polls and seeing an alphebetized list of people all running for the same position. It’s tough to vote for a stranger. I’d like to see the winner recognized for his or her writing not because he/she had name recognition or friends who were willing to vote early and often.
John I understand why it is set to the must be logged in!
Niecey, I have many things saved from the nasty blogs, they were sent me to, we could write a book.
Hi Boston, it isn’t even popularity. It is sign up as many times as you can from different computers and vote daily. I have found some very nice blogs that I will be frequenting. I agree I want the winner to be recognized for their writings, not cheating!
Humble-Good Morning ! I think when one Blog writer has a following and that following votes it will ultimately be the person with the most votes who wins. Since it has nothing to do with writing style or content than it’s fair to say that whoever does win will have the ultimate prize of name recognition and possibly more posters coming to his/her site.
I would hazard a guess that most Blog owners who signed up to be in the competition never knew or read those they were running against. I am sure that some will be disappointed and others will find the experience fun. I wouldn’t want to find myself on that list with 2 votes (my own!!) Imagine the embarrassment of voting for yourself twice a day for 21 days and your total votes were 42! Yikes!
bill schaeffer have his own blog
http://www.wftv.com/caseyanthonyblog/index.html
Hi ya Boston, I agree! I bet they haven’t read the blogs they are going against, but I also feel they are not categorized correctly either! There is one blog on there that has more than 19,000 registered users. They are not posting on their site to vote for them either! There is no mention of it at all on their site! Hey I would vote for your blog! Make that 84 votes!
Humble-I think this is a good time to say something directly to you. When I first heard about this case I Googled “latest on casey anthony”. Your site came up and for weeks I read your articles and then I began to post. I had never posted before.Your Blog was where I went to get all the updates and analysis long before I ever knew about the Orlando Sentinel and WFTV. You are a crack reporter and a kind and able “Blog Master”. Nicey and Mystery very quickly became your competition from my perspective so to speak and I read everyone’s articles and analysis. Both are fabulous writers with writer’s voices firmly grounded in what it means to engage in a civilized discussion with genuine civility. You are in such good company.
What will we all do when things are settled and a verdict is rendered?
Being Florida we all know there will be a problem with the vote counts, “hanging chads” most likely. So in the end will we really know who won????
Besides hanging chads there are other ways to alter the votes. For example: If I open my false IP address browser and vote, I can vote over and over and over all day long. Anyone can do it as every time you vote you do it with a new IP address. So who do you want me to vote for????? Just kidding!
Hey Steph! Good to see you! You’re welcome! We all thank you!!! Friends like you inspire us and help us to keep it going with your encouragement, and insight.
Hey Boston! It’s a blog contest, for the Orlando area, most of us here on wordpress are not from Orlando. We can vote, but our blogs were never in the running. There are some very good blogs in the running, and you can click on their blog names and go to their sites, and check them out. A popularity contest? It is for some I’m sure. Many of these good blogs are not campaigning as are a few. They are simply letting the readers decide, as it should be. Apparently there are a few followers who use different emails to vote more often.
Hey Humble! I’ve a lot to add to that one too!
I think we should write that book!
I completely agree with what you told Boston!
Boston, Sadly, popularity can win out. Nothing wrong with being popular, but I think talent should be an issue in a contest of such. That’s what it’s supposed to be about. LOL! That would be bad, to be in that situation.
Hey Mikka! Where have you been? I’ve missed you. Thanks for sharing. I added his blog to the blog roll.
Well said Humble!
Boston, I think we all started on this case reading Humble’s site. Humble inspired me to have a voice, and Mystery as well. They have both taught me a great deal in all of this about being a gracious hostess and about writing about and standing for what you believe in. I’m personally honored to be in their company, and most especially to call them my friends! Along the way, we’ve all had our eyes opened to the magnitude of this kind of thing. I don’t think any of us realized that this is not so terribly uncommon. Sad, but there will always be something for us to have a voice for justice about.
Hey John! LOL!!!
That’s right! Our State is famous for the voting issues.
I do agree about the ways to alter the outcome of internet voting. Amazing!
Boston, I remember you from the blog. I honestly didn’t start blogging for competition or anything. When I was complaining to my husband about this case, he told me I needed a job.
So I went online search out the case and found many put their frustrations out on wordpress. I figured what the heck, I was going to start a blog! Next thing I knew I was posting all the time! What I did not know is that people would slam me for my thoughts and then found out they had blogs also. Of course it is none of the blogs I post on that have slammed me, but I have been called an old man, an old man on welfare, etc. Today I do not post for competition, I post because I want Justice for Caylee. And if you can’t tell, I am not a writer!
I was really confused by some of the campaigning going on. On several different sites, it was suggested that voting for a particular blogger would strengthen Caylee’s voice, and I was left with the impression the contest was related to the Anthony case. I was perplexed when I found out the contest had nothing to do with the case whatsoever, and am now wondering why Caylee’s name was used as a “selling point.” It seemed like misrepresentation, and even exploitive to a certain extent. JMO.
John, that vote for the best blog is bogus. Yesterday when I was on the site, I just happened to look and one site was on their twice. Now did they move them votes over? Who knows and who cares!
I am rather tired of them trying to post it on my blog, though!
Hi ya Ostella! That is just it! It is not about Caylee and will NOT do anything for her case! If it was about Caylee, it would be vote for the best Caylee blog.
Hi Humble!
Humble, Whether you consider yourself a writer or not, you are still an inspiration, with an admirable quality, you speak up, and you encourage others to do the same. That’s why we are here. (I really think we should write that book on our experiences, LOL!) We have much to share.
Hey Ostella! I’m with you on that, and that is why I had to write this post. That contest has nothing to do with Caylee whatsoever. Nada, zilch! That is a selling point, and not a good one. I do believe the contest should be viewed for what it is, and that is a blog contest, nothing to do with Caylee, or someone’s ailments, and so called sacrifices.
I saw that Humble! I think they should have moved the votes over and if they did, one would think that blog would have been in the lead?
niecey ,i am o.k,still going through the docs, hope everybody is o.k too!
Doing fine. Glad to know you are okay.
Hi Ostella!
Oh niecey I could bring down the house with all the info I have that has been posted about me! All I did was post my opinions, and even on my own site! But what they don’t realize is that I know who they are, they have no clue to who I am! I was even threatened with a law suit!
I know you could Humble. It’s a shame that people do that, but I’ve come to a conclusion, that they do that out of jealousy. I’ve been called a few names myself and talked about, but not on the level you have, but the sad part about it is, just like Boston mentioned starting on your site, so did most of us with this case, and so most likely did the people that did those things. You hit the nail on the head, that you were voicing your opinions on your own site. So one would have to go read to attack and be disgruntled by it. Which tells me that those someones were spending more time reading to find something to pick on someone about, rather than fact finding and checking the news to form their own opinions, to voice on their own sites. Very shallow, and childish. If you ask me, but oh, the stories we could tell. I think it would be a bestseller!
You are a writer HumbleOpinion whether you want to admit it or not. You report and analyze and to the best of my knowledge you didn;t leave the facts at home. You informed and enlightened many and inspired others to write about this case. You have been a champion and an advocate for Caylee Marie Anthony. I remember signing a card of condolence for Mr and Mrs Anthony. We were told we could send them a message which would help them to grieve and cope during the difficult days after Casey’s arrest.
I think it is important to understand that people take it upon themselves to degrade and demean others and in time they soon realize anonymity is no cover for hatred and meanspirited remarks. The best of “Blog Masters” has a hard time quelling the irate poster and the uninformed malingerer that waits under the cover of darkness to spew hatred and misinformation. Johninflorida fought that battle for us all.
JIF is our Jedi Master!!!
Well Said Boston! I do agree that Humble is a fine writer. Shoot, I agree with everything you just said.
Yes He Is Ostella!
Bill Shaeffer as we all know by now will be writing for Word Press. He will bring to his Blog fundamental legal reasoning and an understanding of the laws which govern pretrail and possibly commentary on the trial prior to or even during the penalty phase. I welcome his voice because he has a controlled and centered way about him without a forced or disengenuous sentimentality.
Yes Boston, I really like Bill’s analysis. I look forward to it. I added him to my blogroll.
Niecey, I thought you had you blog before this case. I had never heard of wordpress before all of this. I was surprised how many people were actually on wordpress. I must admit, I would post a blog and never comment on the comments. Then I started to comment, then all the questions starting coming in! I was on overload! If we wrote a book, we would be on easy street!
Thanks Boston! I printed out all those condolences and sent them to Conway. Not a thanks, this is great, not any word from them. For all I know he threw them in the trash. I know they got there, but where they ended up, can’t tell anyone!
What a great conversation goin’ on here!
Humble you are one of the best blog writers I know, and your blog was the first one about Caylee I read. I just stumbled upon it, and it was the first time I had even heard about the case.
I started my blog to get in the habit of writing everyday because I envisioned myself penning a fictional mystery novel. I wanted to write light mysteriess with a female heroine–I know, not very original! lol (boy has that ever gone by the wayside–though I still have the outline and 2 or 3 chapters written and stashed in the closet in my studio)
When I started my blog to “practice my writing.” I never imagined in a million years that I would find myself consumed by the real-life story of a beautiful little girl from Florida, allegedly murdered by her mother.
Funny how one clear path can so easily twist into a completely different one. But anyway, I just want you to know, Humble, that even though you’ve been on the receiving end from some of the worst of the worst out there, you are the best of the best in my book.
I could add that about Niecey, and a lot of other bloggers and commentors as well. Some of the people that comment on these blogs should really be hosting their own!
No Humble, I started after reading your blog for a while. September 11th last year was my first blog. I had never heard of wordpress before this either. I ran across it after googling Caylee’s name, trying to follow the case. I was trying to follow the searches and the latest, and the media in my part of Florida wasn’t giving very much coverage.
I think we would be on easy street as well. It’s been quite an adventure.
I’m excited about Bill Sheaffer’s blog, too!!!
Humble-You were motivated by the best of intentions. I honestly think that Conway is a kind and helpful attorney who will have, if nothing more, name recognition. He will remember how he was paid and it won’t be considered “manna from heaven” because sadly he had “the clients from hell”.
surprise,surprise!
http://www.wftv.com/news/21573563/detail.html
Hmmmm
Wonder what Mr. D. Casey is really hiding????
Hey Mystery! I’m so excited about Bill Sheaffer’s Blog too!
I so agree with you about Humble.
, and as Humble said sometimes answering everyone’s questions is a full time job.
I’m still waiting on that book, (autographed copy) LOL! I know what you mean. I think you do great work! Being the artist that you are, it makes sense that you are so good at the layout and design. Your blog is always so appealing. You do your homework too. I know sometimes that homework makes you go like this
I’m honored to call you and Humble my friends and to be in such good company.
I found myself consumed with this case as well. Who’d thought? So does this mean you’re in on the book???
Thanks Mikka! Amazing………….
I’m sure he’s hiding much Mystery. Me thinks he’s squirming to get out of this.
lol–well, we all know how my book is coming along…..nada….I ‘m pretty sure that means I’m a procrastinator and not very reliable! But, hey, I’m in! If nothin’ else, I could design the jacket cover and I’m pretty sure I could sketch some pretty interesting caricatures of a few of those bashers I referred to as “the worst of the worst!”
Mystery-Great conversation about all of you writers. Just fab reading. Lauren Becall had such a way with that word “fab”. One has to say it with a half smile and a little raised eyebrow.
Boston, I love Lauren Bacall! She is FAB. Oohhh, I know what I wanna do tonight–gonna watch an old Bogie and Bacall movie. She was so sexy!
Oooo, Mystery, That sounds like fun!
We’d be so
!
Boston, you are so kind.
Don’t forget the Apple Crisp and ice cream. I’m finally about to attempt that recipe. I’ve been so side tracked.
mikka! That is great news (Bill S. blog). Sometimes my BF and I don’t communicate for a while which is why I didn’t know he’d started a blog. He probably wanted to surprise me. Am off to read.
Oh, and as far as people voting for themselves and begging others to vote for them, well . . . it is just sad.
Mystery, I didn’t know that! I didn’t know that Niecey didn’t blog before either. I too wait for the release of your book, and a signed copy!
DCasey is up to no good. I am unsure yet if he is trying to get his lies in a row or Cindys.
Hey Bees! I agree it is terribly sad!
I agree Humble! I think D. Casey is up to no good. I really would love to know what’s in the part of his interviews with LE that is sealed. I know it’s not anything good. That guy bothers me.
BTW Bees, I knew you would be excited about Bill’s new blog. I added him to my blogroll.
Humble–we may all be inthe home before I ever finish that book—LOL
My vote is that Cindy keeps changing what she wants him to say and he can’t keep it all straight. When in doubt, bail out!
LOL!
That’s it!!!
Hi Niecy, excellent post. Id like to add, viewing many of the blogs listed in the contest, the blog which won the Orlando Weekly award for best blog this year has multiple contributors, charity events, links to all the current activities in Orlando etc etc. ( The Daily City) If this contest is truly about the best blog for Orlando, I dont really understand why a ” specific subject blog, with a narrow interest”, would be the best overall blog. Just my thoughts, but days worth of blogs requesting votes ( Im a equal opportunity lurker, always looking for more info, with no bias) isnt newsworthy to me. As is usually the case, the quality blogs havent hammered their blogees for votes, but rather kept doing what they do well, keep Orlando and others informed in their area of interest.
Hey Azrenee! Welcome!!! I like the blog you mentioned. (Daily City) Very well said. I do agree, the truly good ones are not hammering for votes, but doing what they do best. I don’t understand why they aren’t getting more votes. There are a few more I really like. Let’s hope the truly good ones prevail before all is said and done.
Niecey…I have been thinking about your post all day at work…I thought here is the opportunity to say things to many out there in cyber space. I had so much to say of course never rude…just stating facts from my perspective (they may have come out a little stern, lol).
But, you, Humble and Mystery kind of melted my sternness away…you all made me a wee bit teary eyed, lol.
You all are great…and of course John and Motherclucker…
Az…I totally agree.
Thanks Steph! You have no idea how much we appreciate you. If it weren’t for people like you, we wouldn’t have the forums we do. We are all very Blessed to have the friends that we have, and because of our friends, we find the strength and inspiration to do what we do.
I’ve been faithfully voting for my favorite blog. Is there a place to see how many actual votes have been cast?
Bees, I have been too. You know I didn’t notice. I’ll have to look. BRB.
I looked Bees, but didn’t see anywhere that tells you that. I wish they would show the stats.
Thanks for all the facts about the voting for blogs.
What I find interesting in this network of blogging is how most of the blog-masters comment on each others’ posts. That means you all are out there not just monitoring your own posts, but you’re reading and contributing to others, sharing thoughts and perspectives.
I don’t know how Bill S. has time for a blog.
Good Evening Ideas! Yes we do tend to do that around here, and some of us take breaks and tend to other things. All of us are multi-tasking. I’m sure he won’t have time to answer every single comment all of the time, but I’m sure he’ll bring some wonderful insight. He’s new at this too, so let him also get the hang of it.
I’m sure Bill knows what he is getting into. I agree he will give great insight. I’m just awed, not critical, of all he has on his plate.
I agree. You’d be surprised though, that the bloggers you see here, many have very busy lives. I know you are not being critical. The good news is that technology is such that a good lap top, or blackberry, and the multitasking is on. I think he will bring a lot to wordpress. I think we both agree on that.
Hey Boston! Are you sure? I don’t understand how anyone could have taken it that way, as I took it that the whole contest seemed to be at question (per your post), not any particular contestant.
My response to you had to do with the contest encouraging campaigning. You can check it out on the site. I said a few, as I’m sure there are a few, but by and large most are not.
You’re posts should not have to be deleted, as you said nothing wrong. Are you sure you want to let someone do that to you? I’m amazed!
Boston, May I email you to find out which comments to remove? I would prefer not to remove all of them as the conversation would be unbalanced, many were speaking to you. Okay?
Again, I don’t believe you singled anyone out, and if someone is giving you a hard time, they are bullying you and that’s not right. I did not see you trying to hurt anyone.
Boston and Niecey, I realize this has nothing to do with me, but I would like to put in my 2 cents if that’s okay.
Boston, your comments are respected by many here at WordPress, myself included. Your statement was made in very general terms, and was not derogatory towards anybody. You had every right to voice your opinion on the issue, and I did not read that as a “dis” to any other blogger. If someone twisted your words to make you look like a villain (when you weren’t really being one), then that’s their problem. You made your feelings clear, and should not have to delete your original thought because a small group of people took it the wrong way, and continue to hammer you with unneccesary guilt. You made a valid point, and you were not disrespectful to anybody. Opinions shouldn’t be squashed, and ideas shouldn’t be silenced for it. But obviously its up to you. I just wanted to put in my thoughts on the issue, I hope you don’t mind….
I’m sorry if I’ve stuck my nose in where it doesn’t belong. I just feel really strongly about censorship. It tends to have a domino effect. if someone knows they can bully someone into silence, they’ll do it again and again, and that’s not fair. I’m not singling anyone out when I say that, I just mean it generally. Okay, now I go bye bye…
Hey Ostella! I appreciate what you said. You did not stick your nose where it doesn’t belong. I appreciate your point of view and I agree with you completely. Thank you!!!
There is absolutely no need for sorry.
Boston, I emailed you.
I just think its a shame when legitimate, respectfully worded opinions get trampled and ultimately erased because one person (who ironically celebrates their “fairness” on a daily basis) chooses to twist it into an insult. JMO, and I know others will disagree… But its disheartening….
Hey Ostella! I completely agree!
ostella, I agree. Even if it is an insult, a certain amount of insult should be tolerated for the sake of disagreement. But it’s all taken so personally….and that should be ok too, under the guise of discussion…however, best be left alone, knowing the temperament, I suppose.
At least in these intertwining blogs, topics can move along. Have you noticed how some stay to themselves and never intermingle?? And that’s ok, too.
Hey Ideas! Well said! I’ve noticed.
I’m starting to bore myself over this but, I’ll say it anyway. I am sorry none of my favorite Casey blogs (Niecey, Mystery, Humble, MC, JIF) come out of Orlando and it’s a shame Bill Sheaffer didn’t get in the running, isn’t it? Hands down shoe-in!
My favorite blogs are full of information, are well written, are respectful of other opinions and sometimes we even have a laugh or two (or three) because we are lucky enough to have bloggers with intelligence and quick wits (not ME). I know I’m biased but I think we are a great bunch and even though we may never physically meet, these people are my friends and when we are together online we behave like friends. I seldom visit blogs where I do not feel welcome, and every time I do have the nerve to lurk I cannot help but notice the bickering, the insults and the in-fighting. It’s chronic and as regular as clockwork.
It doesn’t matter what the particular topic is, it’s guaranteed the comments are peppered with insults and hurt feelings. Blah blah blah . . . “I wish you would have just deleted my post instead of making me feel so awful.” Blah blah . . . “I stopped posting on your blog for fear of being embarrassed and ridiculed” blah blah “How about if I just close up shop? “ blah blah “comments were like a putrid smell wafting off a breeze from Hell” blah blah . . . etc. etc.
. . . well, we all have eyes and you all have read it as well as I have. Now that being said, obviously some people are not offended by this and God bless them, isn’t it great that we do have the freedom of speech and if that’s the way they want to be spoken to then more power to them cause it really is nobody’s business (including mine).
If my favorite blogs were coming out of Orlando they would be winners. In fact they ARE winners cause it takes more than just writing skills to moderate a successful blog. It takes a mutual respect, tact and good manners! Know what I mean, jellybean? XOX
I do agree that freedom of speech is a wonderful thing. I don’t understand why people thrive on just being right and opinionated, and anyone who disagrees is less of a human being, or less talented, or a basher. It’s all right for them to call names and bully, but it’s wrong for you to even respectfully disagree. I think most folks can see if for what it is, very sad.
I think B Sheaffer’s should have been in the running too. Maybe next year? I know what you mean Jellybean!
With all of that said, I think we do have a wonderful bunch of friends! We are very Blessed!
Ostella, you’re right. It is a shame.
It is!
I wonder where OA is these days. I’d like to hear her assessment of the latest. What do you guys think about the miniscule amounts of chloroform in the needle? Is it linked to Casey, do you think? Imo no matter how tiny the amount, it is one more bit of evidence, right? Chloroform searches on line, chloroform in the trunk, chloroform in the needle. Makes sense to me. I also wonder if chloroform showed up when testing the bones. Besides more chloroform evidence I also would think there’s some chance of a nice big thumbprint on the plunger of the syringe. It was protected from the elements inside that bottle. One more question: were there other peices of the special duct tape found near the body? I’m just wondering if there’s a possibility that Caylees arms were bound.
Bees, I spoke with OA recently and many times she’s asked me to tell you and the gang hello. She’s been very busy and sick with the flu. She says she will come by and visit with us soon.
You bring up some very good points. From my perspective, can’t speak for OA, but I think there are latent prints and they will come up at some point. I’m not dismissing the evidence just based on what one tv station said. I do think there is still much to this. I just don’t buy that there is nothing to it. Maybe OA will come by and answer your questions.
Bees,
Jellybean, I knows whatya mean!
And it is sad… Boston is a very talented writer with a great voice…
Yes she is!
Bees, if I’m not mistaken, the gatorade bottle itself contained some chloroform (as well as other chemicals). I read at CD that the bottle was 3/4 full.
I’m going to try and go back over the stats on those reports this weekend. I’m not taking the word of one news source.
OH! Wow! Good.
Yes, Boston is very talented. True.
Bees, here’s where I read the bottle was 3/4 full:
http://www.cayleedaily.com/2009/11/caylee-anthony-is-there-a-message-found-in-this-bottle/
Thanks Ostella!
Ah-HA! You’re right! Thanks.
And then I just read this, which says the liquid contained only a miniscule amount of chloroform. But I wonder if that’s just cuz it had broken down over time?
http://www.cayleedaily.com/2009/11/caylee-anthony-liquid-in-bottle-coud-be-from-a-cleaning-fluid-not-chloroform/
I’m going to try and figure that out a little better. No promises, that I can make any more sense of it, but I will try.
Since chloroform is made from cleaning products, I mean. It also said the testosterone was found in the mix in the bottle.
The thing is from what I understand you can inject someone with things that are not harmful and make them deadly, so I still believe there is more to this.
Good Evening Everyone! I’m sorry I got busy with phones and faxes this afternoon and evening. I promise I will answer comments tomorrow. Goodnight Everyone!
I’m not too talented but I try, like the rest of us here, to add an insight, share something I learned at Google University or draw from my VAST and DIVERSE library of ideas which are thrown about my Study- the place where I contemplate big ideas as I listen to the spin of my Maytag or the whir of the dryer. I’m not opposed to folding laundry and reading posts and saying outloud, Geez, I just never thought of that, or Now that’s an interesting idea-so BeesKnees. Is the AEV (Anthony Ebola Virus) under control? or are there people who thought they could escape it by not getting the shot-or were they just shot? Whatever…..
The many consistent, centered, funny and rational ideas presented here each day are as a result of the Blog writer’s knowledge, whether spoken aloud or internalized, that he or she is NOTHING without the reader.
There is a sense of gratitude on the part of the writer. She honors her craft by allowing dissent. She lives for a conversation and knows that if a tiff occurs it’s not the end of the discussion but a new beginning, a haha moment or something that stirs her or allows a change of heart or mind.
Writing for many is like eating is for the rest of us mere mortals. READERS!!!! Unite Posters lets Celebrate!!
Long live Ideas and the good friends who bring the message. Ostella -words matter. We will be alerted by them when our freedoms are banished. Thankk you for talking about cencorship-as readers we should try to banish it!! I love the word “antithetical ” but I can’t use it right now in a sentence….later girls.
Wow, kinda loud in here today. I’m washing two winter bedspreads.
Hey Boston! You are such a kind and loving friend. I always enjoy conversing with you. I don’t propose to ever know it all, so I am always welcoming of new ideas, and I do try very hard to understand the perspective of another. Even if I disagree I always try and do so respectfully, as again, I don’t propose to know it all. With that said, I think we all do multi-task around here. I do all the time. I’ve got to get on my laundry as well.
I think we are very Blessed to be able to exchange our thoughts and opinions. Freedom of Speech is a valuable asset. I also appreciate that we can always do so and whether we agree or disagree, we always walk away with a smile, and caring for one another.
Boston, I lurk mostly and always enjoy your posts. Please do not let anyone take away your right to free speech!
Hey Noel! Welcome!!! I agree I enjoy reading Boston’s posts.
Niecey, Your post was quite appropriate and brought to the surface a lot of the thoughts I was having about this vote. Thank you for putting in to words what so many are thinking.
Obviously, it is an honor to be nominated for any award that recognizes your talents. For me, it would also be an honor to win the award if I won it honestly and fairly. This is the problem I have with how this blog owner is going about winning. Nothing about it is honest or fair.
Now most of you have seen the multitude of posts asking for votes. I come to this area of WordPress to read more about the Anthony case, not to have to fight through posts that prompt me to Vote for Me or Why I Vote for this man who can do no wrong and you should too!! The only light at the end of the tunnel is that the contest ends in 8 days!!
Now all that bugs me, but what really left a bad taste in my mouth is the multiple voting that is going on. Bloggers are making up multiple emails and names to pad the votes.
As I said, I am a lurker and I read several blogs. I lost all respect for this blog owner when he was encouraging his ladies to open up more email addresses. Several even have them for their pets, including a bird. To me, that is a desperate, win at all costs, move.
This from a person who reminds others his catchwords are facts, fairness, bonesty, etc. He is quick to point out his critics are jealous and have no self-esteem. Well, I think by now most everyone knows that if he wins it has been done not by fairness, but dogs, cats, mice and birds voting along with the double and triple voting ladies. I think if you want to win an award that bad maybe some self-esteem isues may be involved, thus the win at all costs mentality.
In conclusion, I am not sure how this person sleeps well at night. And if he does, I find that even more frightening, that means his moral compass does not find the actions I outlined as cheating.
Would’nt it have been more fun and rewarding to find out you won if you did it the right and fair way? And I am sure Victory would have tasted so much sweeter. Even if he did not win, playing by the rules, I would have never lost my respect for him and felt he was honored by the nomination.
As it is now, no one in the blog world will feel he won fair and square, if he does win. They will continue to talk about him and he will have to come up with more childish variations of bowel movement and flatulance words to call them. Another of my pet peeves as no other blog I visit uses those words on a daily basis(thank you neicey for never using them!). Perhaps he had a bad potty training experience as there sure is an anal fixation!
Thank You for your writings and for letting me post such a long reply. See why I usually only lurk?
Below I have posted a portion of the voting rules taken directly from the site. I had that icky feeling about what was transpiring with the voting right from the beginning.
Ironically, one of the ladies of his forum posted the link to the official rules on Bill S. blog and invited anyone who felt there was wrongdoing to check it out. When I did this is part of what I found. What do you all think? Are they blurring the rules?
Nominees are permitted to encourage others to vote for their Blogs. However, collusion between or among any Nominees and/or Voters or other participants to unfairly affect the outcome of the Voting Period or this Contest (e.g., through fraud or tampering) is strictly prohibited and may result in the immediate disqualification of the relevant Nomination. Any person attempting to defraud or tamper with this Contest in any way will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Tampering includes attempting to nominate or vote more than the number of times permitted by these Official Rules including by using an automated device, multiple email addresses or otherwise. Any failure by Orlando Sentinel to enforce any of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of such Official Rules.
Wow Noel!!! You’re welcome. I think we were all struggling with it.
Very well said. I completely understand where you are coming from. Seems those rules are being broken. Hmmmm………… Fairness??? Not hardly. I do feel there are some definite underlying issues. You’re welcome that I don’t use those words. LOL! Must be a potty training issue! I just think it’s a crying shame that for someone that prides themselves in honesty and integrity, fairness and compassion, they name call and get hateful with people on a regular basis, always anyone that disagrees or questions anything. I would say those values are a figment of that one’s imagination, because to have those values you don’t cheat, lie, or trash others for disagreeing, and you especially don’t go around always making yourself superior to others.
Thanks for sharing!
Noel-You know sometimes it’s the intent to deceive which really hurts my sense of what is going on. I have said many times that no one bashes the Anthony’s -posters simply put a name to a fact and a link to an opinion and god forbid if you have the AUDACITY to think and link at the same time!
You become a no good very bad rotten little piece of you-know-what or just maybe a little drop of wee wee. This is not how one wins a popularity contest and it certainly isn;t winning the war of words.
The RULES apply to everyone. The Blog owner has a right to set the tone, write with expression and entertain opposing opinions and insights. Bow down to your readers and know that without them you are NOTHING.
Hey Boston! You bring up a very good point my friend. Without our readers we are nothing. Spot on! We couldn’t do what we do if we didn’t have all of you. Plain and simple. Not only do you encourage us, but you bring us info and ideas to research. Reader support and input is very valuable to a blog. I appreciate my readers and would not treat them bad.
Boston Amen!! The problems at that blog start right at the top!!
Hey Noel! All I can say is………Yep!
Noel-And unfortunately some decent and dedicated posters have to fall on the sword while “He, who must be obeyed’ enjoys name recognition. It just ain’t fair.
It isn’t fair, but it’s a free country, and you can be where you are welcome. You are welcome here.
Wowwwww…. Sad. Sad sad sad…..
And even now it will probably be “rewritten” as the “hateful bashers” fault….. Sad……
Hey Ostella! It is sad, but the hateful bashers are the ones out bashing.
Dedicated posters don’t need to “fall by the sword”…just move on to other blogs such as this one.
It is hurtful to first trust a moderator or blog-master and have several good conversations, and then *BAM*out of nowhere, get blown out of the water because of disagreement, misunderstanding, meds, or a bad mood. I usually like discourse with a little challenge. I’ve learned so much, and my mind has been changed many times concerning the facts and players in this case through discussion or lurking.
We need to be able to speak our minds responsibly to share ideas and perspectives. Getting shut down or channeling conversation only through a particular corridor of thought, limits the intended purpose for blogs.
=======
Seems that Baez is not remaining silent about the syringe find. His motto is to look confidant no matter what. I suppose this case will polish his poker-face, which will in turn perfect him as a defense lawyer.
We would all delight in watching him wring his hands and pull his hair in woe and confusion as what to do with Casey, but he’s too practiced. However, he just can’t seem to remain silent and hold his cards until trial.
Hey Ideas! You are correct, and here even if we disagree, the disagreement is respectful. No one needs to be afraid to voice their opinion. I’ve had people come here that totally disagreed that were very nice in their disagreement, and so in turn everyone was nice and one way or another the person was not made to feel any less than anyone else. The only blacklisted ones or ones that I refused moderation, were ones that were threatening and rude. If a person only wants to fight, this is not the place for them.
As far as Baez, he’s looking a little pale. I saw that interview, and he looks like he’s been under a lot of stress. I’m sure he’ll learn a lot from this one, but I sure wouldn’t want to be her attorney. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he’s a very good one, and he’s been in it for the money, but just like Casey is showing the stress of jail, he’s starting to show the stress of her attorney.
Good Morning Ideas-You and Noel have explained this situation very well. Can we sit here and draw a sigh of relief and hope that it doesn;t happen again? No. The fighting goes on because that is apparently what he thrives on.
=======
They should be anticipating a latent fingerprint report and what will they do then if Casey is identified (with a high degree of probability)?
If they have thrown away their limited immunity and received nothing but an assurrance that the DP is not coming off the table than I would say they are in a very bad spot.
This time Jose Baez has got to get serious with CAsey -if she is behind this fiasco than God help her. On Dec 9 I remember hearing Jose Baez say, “Caylee is alive”. He was so cavalier and so disrespectful to the victim. Did he learn anything in the past few months? I think if he did he would never bring forward a stranger theory.
Casey has every right to go after him if he said it was our best theory assuming she told her side of the story.
I agree Boston.
I really believe that the latent fingerprint is there. I know there is so much more than we know about. Baez made a gamble, and it was he gambled that Caylee’s remains would not be found. He gambled that his “dream team” would be able to pull off the junk science that some of them did in other cases. The problem is he really messed up, as he couldn’t control his mouth at press conferences, and thus he threw his client under the bus a few times, and then none of his team are from Florida and they don’t know Florida Law. They are not very good with it either. Baez made some serious mistakes, and last I saw him on video, it’s showing that it’s hitting home all over his face.
Ideas, its an abusive form of manipulation, in my mind. All dissenters are immediately labeled “malicious,” “hateful,” “bashers,” “snakes,” “scum of society,” “pigs,” “worthless,” “jealous,” “uneducated,” the list of sadistic names goes on and on… Its beyond ridiculous…a hamsterwheel of “do as I say, not as I do.” People are made to feel like such $hitty human beings in dire need of His Highness’ enlightenment. If you don’t endorse his brand of hypocrisy, you’re branded an even bigger Hater. Please. He flatters himself if he thinks I give enough of a crap about him to invest energy in hating him. Its really pathetic. I don’t know why anybody would let themselves be spoken to in such a manner, but to each their own…
Most especially when they don’t have to put up with it, but as you said to each his own. Oh well. Some folks like to abuse and some folks like to be abused, not sure why but there are folks like that.
Oh, AND we’re supposed to believe that the 500+ negative comments about MD over at Bill’s are really just coming from 5 or 6 “haters” out to get him, all writing under assumed names. Right…….. Whatever……
Oh, and one of his commenters is under the impression that “there’s no such thing as free speech on the blogs.” I’m serious.
Has she heard of the U.S. Constitution?
Oh, and they’ve threatened to expose “the haters” IP addresses and emails. Brilliant……
Way to rise above the hate…..
The problem is he has blogs all over the place, and he’s stirred up trouble with a mountain of people. Plus he has not just blogged on this case, but inserted himself in places he shouldn’t, trying to affect the outcome. A real journalist would know better.
I believe he’s upset that many people myself. I’ve been taking some time off spending time with my family and I was literally shocked when I came back and found all the backbiting mess, and especially with me being accused of things when I wasn’t even around.
LOL!!!

Welcome to the world of blogging,Bill. I hope everyone treats you with the dignity and resepect you deserve. Blogging can have an ugly side at times, especially regarding this case, but everyone respects you and your opinions.
I wish you well.
==============================
Is blogging only an opportunity to receive the dignity and respect one feels they are deserving of or is it an opportunity to write about what interests you and your readers?
Is it possible to look at what happened over at Bill’s Blog and not feel some responsibility? If you are walking on eggshells or have you head in your hands than I think something good will come from this. Words matter and so do people. At the end of the day it will have nothing to do with being a good writer. The big question is …………………
Will you get invited to the Senior Prom after the campaign is over?
Yeah, but then it was brought to my attention that he was over at his place right after that accusing the women of throwing their panties at a married man to try and get noticed, because they were commenting over there. That didn’t sound gracious to me, but it did sound mean spirited and jealous. The man has no conscience, so he won’t ever feel bad about his flock causing mischief, and no he will never be invited.
To be honest, and without intent of name calling, I’m glad that people are now discussing the MD blog. I felt very alone in my hurt, even tho’ others were getting trounced there also from time to time. I can only agree from my own experience and lurking over there with all that I’ve heard about other people’s experiences. I’ve seen the best and the worst there from MD himself. not just the bloggers.
Very well said and that’s the truth of it. That is why there are so many standing up to them. It had absolutely nothing to do with this post or me. In fact if he hadn’t over stepped his bounds, the commenting here wouldn’t have been about him anyway. I expected some frustration to come out, but not his people going and starting all that trouble on BS’s blog. The truth is I didn’t want people to be blindsided by the campaigning and not realize that there were some really good blogs in the running. I resented the fact that voting for him was represented as somehow furthering the cause for justice for Caylee, but I didn’t tell folks not to vote for him, just to make sure they made an informed decision, and in fact in the post it was said that if that’s your favorite blog of all of them, then by all means vote for it. Then this all turned into a big attack. What’s so bad about it is he’s been name calling other blogs the whole time he’s been blogging on this case. He’s always putting himself on a pedestal and putting everyone else down and calling them liars and all kinds of names.
Ostella wrote about the language and the animosity that was an every day practice at DMB. I know first hand how miserable and scared she must have felt saying things which many of us would like to forget. It took true courage and honesty to call someone out on their filthy language and snide remarks intended to degrade and demoralize. I went to bat for him in the early days because, like many after me, I didn’t know what hit me nor was I even capable of recognizing the reason so many disliked him. What annoyed many posters were the demeaning and degrading comments sent their way and the abruptness in which a dope slap was delivered.
I wonder what his third grade teacher would say to him now if she had the chance?
It does take courage, but it’s over at least for the ones who decided to no longer go there.
As far as the third grade teacher, well, in his day she’d probably have slapped his hands with the ruler.
The ironic (and utterly riDONGculous) thing about it, Boston, is that using language like that to describe the Anthonys- who have truly earned people’s disrespect and outrage- is forbidden, because THAT makes YOU a judgmental piece of you know what. But its perfectly fine- in fact, encouraged- for His Holiness and his followers to call YOU all of those names and more, and somehow that makes THEM morally superior human beings in their minds. Like I said, a hamsterwheel of “do as I say, not as I do” ideology… And they seem to celebrate eachother’s blatant double standards, and then have the unabashed gall to wonder why they’re referred to by so many as “sheeple.”
And all in the name of “fairness.” For who, exactly? Certainly not his readers….
He demands a certain level of respect for the Anthonys that many don’t feel they deserve, yet he doesn’t extend that same courtesy to his dissenting readers. I personally don’t give respect on demand. People have to earn it, in my book. Same goes with trust. Giving it on demand to proven liars who subsist by manipulating people’s emotions is plain foolish to me. The Anthonys have earned public scorn through their abominable behavior. People have a right under the 1st amendment to express that in writing, without fear of being attacked and reprimanded by a self righteous, grandstanding hypocrite.
How can one toot their own horn for their “fairness,” and then become outraged by Niecey’s audacity to mention that there are other contestants up for this blog award? Did you notice her article was immediately twisted into a “personal agenda against Dave?” Its a competition…. That means many blogs are nominated, and in the spirit of “fairness,” shouldn’t they all get equal attention? Isn’t that what competition is about? Notice how the slightest criticism of that blogger’s treatment of his readers has been construed as a vendetta to sabotage his quest for this precious award? And this, of course, is coming from those who have established their OWN personal agenda—ROCK THE VOTE FOR MARINADE DAVE—- on just about every blog they visit?
RIDONGCULOUS. Utterly pathetic.
Its a local blogger’s award. Its not a Peabody. Not a Pulitzer. Not a Nobel Prize. Nobody cares enough to try and sabotage it. The only ones UNFAIRLY influencing the contest would be the birds, mice, dogs, cats, and other imaginary “voters” from the congregation. They’re the ONLY ONES with a “personal agenda.” Nobody else cares….
I don’t care from this day forward as they have rigged the contest and that is how he will win. Does winning mean that much? If winning means cheating and throwing your weight around, then I wonder if it’s really winning at all. Sad for the ones who didn’t stoop to that level, and really did work hard at running an good honest site.
Did you catch the latest? A letter to WFTV? HA HA HA HA HA!!!! Anyone who takes the time to look into his “problem” will quickly determine that the problem is HIM! Good for a laugh at least. I hope his whole mess implodes on him.
Hey Bees! I did, and I agree. Me too(the laugh and the imploding)!!!
I have a question. How on earth did Judge Strickland come to call him over for an introduction? Did he just happen to look up from his bench and think, “Hey! I recognize that bald head. Isn’t he the guy that has that stupid blog . . . Dave somebody-or-other? Gee. I sure want to meet him.” HA HA HA HA HA!!!! I DON’T THINK SO.
I think it went more like this: Pickles arrives early desperate for a word with a bailiff (or anyone actually) and then begs that he be introduced to the judge when court’s over. The bailiff slips the Judge a note or whispers in his ear, “There’s some strange guy here, wants to meet you.” The judge being the class act he is introduces himself and they find little to say and the awkward little meeting is over and Pickles, salivating with pride rushes home to drool over his keyboard pounding out his stupid post for all his brainwashed women to ooh and ahhh over forever.
Which scenario is easiest to believe? That’s right.
I vote for number 2. LOL!

Thank you Bees! I think I should do that.
Ostella, did you catch how Blink handled all of the “VOTE FOR THE PICKLE” pleas? And the begging her to put up a link? Blink’s response: NONE. There’s no way she will be dragged into his mess.
Good for Blink! I don’t blame her.
Very disrespectful comment made by MD on his site about niecy456

Thank you, New Puppy. I found it very odd that these people would wrongly assume that I would just sit back and do nothing. With a certain understanding of law, I would make a strong guess that the individuals involved will not be forwarded on to me by LE if and when an investigation takes place. I have decided to add the FBI and FCC in my list of who will get this letter. What else is strange is that these people think I am too stupid to know how to write. This is really an incredibly bad judgment call.
By the way, I will guess that one of the ALLEGED perpetrators could be another blog. That blog is also fomenting trouble. I’ll give you a clue… it isn’t nephewy456. A certain commenter from a city where the Red Sox hail is an instigator, in my opinion, but it may be just at that site.

Hey Anonymous! Welcome!!!
Thank you for bringing that to my attention. First I haven’t been on much over the past 3 or 4 days, and second I don’t disguise my name. I made one comment at BS’s blog and it was to welcome him and tell him how I look forward to his posts. I commented right below one of the people from over there, whom I’ve never had anything against, and it was apparently long before the fighting broke out. I think it’s a shame that that happened. I was very excited about that new blog. That guy is always threatening someone.
Blinks got class, Bees.
That other blog….. Its like school on Saturdays….NO CLASS….
!
Ostella,
Bees, I hadn’t read that. I don’t often go “down the rabbit hole” anymore, even to lurk…. Speaking of rabbits, have any of you ever seen the movie “Donnie Darko?” Cuz Patrick Swayze’s character really reminds me of MD. Great movie. A little twisted, but definitely worth watching. JMO
Thanks for that heads up, will have to watch that one.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll rent it! I sure hope we get some news soon. That might put a stop to the chronic bickering. What’s up with the cops not interviewing Mallory until now? Does that seem okay? Maybe they had enough ~ didn’t need any of her testimony OR realized she’d be nothing more than half-truths and mis-truths like the Anthonys. Or maybe it doesn’t really mean anything ~ that’s likely the case.
I’m ready for all the bickering to be over too! It’s getting old. You know I looked into that after you asked about it on the other post, and I saw that they hadn’t. Interesting. I’m sure they didn’t expect much.
Niecey, this below from Blink ~ exactly as you’ve been saying too, since your piece on the Sunshine Laws, in regards to a smoking gun, “solid” evidence (thumbprint, dna, etc.)
Wouldn’t we love to know what they know? But really, what we have so far must surely be more than enough, wouldn’t you think? To me it feels like we are drowning in evidence. The case has become huge and complex because of it. Do we really need to know more?
“It would be released to the defense of course, but If it is integral to the case, you wont see it before trial under some of the exclusions to the sunshine law.”

Yep and it’s the truth, I think many will be shocked at trial. Thanks for sharing that Bees!
Sorry, I don’t know if I was clear. It’s the last sentence that is from Blink’s.
I understood that.
Oh, Bees Knees, you are truly a worthless turd dredged from the bottom of society. Pickles?? Only a hateful piece of trash like you would stoop to name calling. I’m above that. Over at Captain Buzzkill’s blog, we’re educated adults. What grade school did you graduate from, you idiot? I bet you’re one of those bloggers who calls Baez a clown, and even thinks Cindy has saggy boobs. I pity filth like you, and its my duty to police the other blogs and spread The Holy Word of Buzzkill to save all of you judgmental a$$holes. I’m the self-appointed PC Police. Respect my authority or be branded a HATER.
That’s exactly the point of view too!
Hey Bees… Do ya think the prosecutor dressed up like Nick from Family Ties (the junk sculptor boyfriend with the mullet and motorcycle), and started each depo question with, “Hey, hey, MALL-OR-EEEEE!!”
Hello all!
I just wanted to chime in and say I enjoy this blog as well as humble’s and mystery’s. I did not know about any of your blogs at all until I started my own, because I tend to keep my nose in the science of the evidence and not read much in the way of bloggity-blog. But when I created my own blog and started expanding my horizons by visiting the sites that were visiting me – I found all these treasures I had not known about previously.
I have read niecey’s, humble’s, and mystery’s takes on the twisting machinations of the case and found them to be very tripartite of thought-provoking sites. The trio make for a well-rounded intellectual experience on the happenings in this case. I’m grateful to have found your places on the “internets”.
May your tubes never get clogged.
Kindest regards,
Valhall.
Hey Valhall! Welcome!!! Thank you very much. I must say I really like your blog. I added your link to my sidebar. You do wonderful work! I can speak for the 3 of us and tell you that we appreciate your visits. You are always welcome! Keep up the good work!
Ostella! LOL LOL LOL!!!!! You’ve got me pegged. I’m a worthless piece of poo!
Not you Bees!
Hello Everyone! Sorry I’ve been keeping my grandbaby on and off the past 3 days and my hubby took me shopping for an early Christmas present. He’s such a good man! I answered your comments within the comments. Sorry, so slow. Have a great rest of the weekend!
Hi Niecey! Grandbabies always come before blogging. And aren’t you on top of things with your early Christmas shopping? ~ something I always aspire to but never quite pull it off.
Good Sunday Morning-

You are ON FIRE Boston! Who wouldve thought you were so powerful?! You raised quite a ruckus, you rabble rouser!
I hope you’ve all cleared your busy schedules this week, so that we can proceed en-masse with Phase 2 of our sinister operation. I’m prepared to neither eat nor sleep until I personally draft at least 500 nasty comments under a variety of pseudonyms, because our grand plot to sabotage MD’s quest for the ever coveted Orbbie is THAT important to me.
I’m that dedicated a “hater.” HILARIOUS!!!!
What a joke!!! ROTFL who would ever think they’re so important?!
Alright, so I just read your new post about the new rules. No more!! It don’t exist to me either, girlfriend!
Hey Bees! Yes they do, always.
My little guy is the light of my life. He also wears me out, LOL! Well, actually I bought a few presents, but hubby and I bought ours to each other. Some new furniture. What a guy! I’m not sure if I was that good, but we were both happy with our choices.
Thanks Boston for the wonderful quotes. True wisdom……….
I pray Peace and Love and the Lord be with you as well. You are such a dear. Yes, always next year for the team. It’s going to be a better week and we are going to enjoy it.
Hey Ostella! You gave some pretty great quotes as well. Thanks for the wisdom! Life gets better, not wasting my time there anymore. From this day forward.
Ostella! I didn’t say you don’t exist to me. I would never say that. I was not talking about you girlfriend.
Oh I know! I meant “that blog” don’t exist to me either!
LOL!
LOL! Got cha!
I guess it’s getting past my bedtime. LOL!
Hi Niecey and All: I too feel the need to post something regarding how I’ve felt in these blogs. Your blog has always made me feel welcome and my comments relevant. The atmosphere is calm and respectful. I enjoy Blink on Crime and have posted there comfortably. I’ve visited and read other blogs regarding Caylee and that ‘blog’ is the only one I’ve run into in which the writer is so ego driven and frankly, hypocritical. I had to laugh out loud when ‘he’ asked (and I use that word loosely) commenter’s to vote for him and to vote repeatedly. In the next breath, ‘he’ says he’s so humbled and grateful for all the attention…(all of which he’s been begging for). I hope the victory won’t be too hollow. My goodness, the hostility and immaturity of this writer is truly amazing. I really thought I was alone with my hurt/disillusionment with the blog in question and couldn’t understand why others, commenter’s who I really respected, could go on the way they do and not be offended for others, if not for themselves. I guess everyone see things differently but I’m glad to see that others feel the same way I do. Makes me feel more understood and I’m grateful for that. I wouldn’t ordinarily write something so harsh (and don’t usually feel inclined) but I feel this is a good time to get it off my chest. Enough about this…it shouldn’t take up any more time.
At the end of the day, my interest has always been this case and justice for that sweet baby. The ideas and conclusions we all reach are important and thought provoking. Here’s to intelligent discourse without the ego and popularity contests, just respectful conversation. I’d also like to say that you Niecey, are always so respectful and kind. I really enjoyed your blog regarding the contest, it was just right. Thanks for providing such a good spot to stop and chat. I know you stated you don’t want any more of this and I promise, no more comments like this
Thank you Niecey..Lori
Lori-You are a thoughtful and honest person. That person is history. All the kooks have flown the coop and God willing there will be real change. Maybe what happened will be a wake up call to rethink vivd language and civility.
Nicey has started a new post with updated and amended rules so go over and join the conversation. I am going to finish my leaves and get dinner going- be back after Chris Matthers.
Thank you so much Boston. I was hoping you would see this and respond. I respect your thoughts so much. I’ll check out the new post and hope to talk to you soon.
Again, thank you for your comment. Enjoy your evening:)
Hey Lori! I understand your position. The good news is when you have a bad experience, you can move on and not go back there. I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I can tell you that I’ve always recommended to the gang that it’s always best to watch a site for a while and see if you like not only the postings, but the conversation. Many times it will help you to decide whether the site is for you, and whether or not you want to post. I want to thank you for the kind words and I want you to know that you are safe here. You can state your opinion without fear of being slammed. We keep it clean, but it’s okay to agree or disagree, as long as it’s done respectfully. I hate to hear of anyone having bad experiences, but it does happen, and with that said, you are welcome here. It is about Justice here, as well as Truth, and we all get along.
I do agree about Boston.
Hi Lori! Nice to “meet” you. I liked your comment. See you over on the new blog.
Hello,
I have never posted here before, to be honest until I read the nephewy456 remark on the BS site, I never connected that you were niecey, see even for me, the “outing “was apparent. I am glad that I came here to read, there are a lot of people I used to enjoy reading elsewhere, and wondered where they went.
I don’t know how to even explain what I think of all the garbage that has been going on since BS opened his blog, but Wow! pretty much covers it.
There are some bottom lines to this whole thing,
1. I truly believe that if Judge Strickland has ever read one of the nasty name calling barrages against anyone who didn’t follow the “path” prescribed, he is embarrassed that he ever complimented the individual. It’s all in print so denial is just a lie.
2. BS could care less about all this stupidity, and he can also read, and see for himself that people catagorizing their treatment there are not lying or making anything up.
Although I am sure a lot of cleaning up is being done, it doesn’t make a difference, it was out there for all to see.
3. The outcome of this contest will always be a question mark if MD wins. Very sad.
Lucky I never posted here either, but like you, I saw the comment and started looking around, what that particular blogger fails to recognize is the comments made on that site are as bad if not worse than anything the A’s have called. Some of the names I’ve seen that blogger call people astounds me!
I asked him to stop bashing on BS site, he asked how I ‘dared’ to accuse him…huh? The paranoia is out of control.
Anyway, I figured anyone slammed there MUST be worth checking out!
Hey Lucky Grandmom! Welcome!!!
Yes, It’s amazing that I’ve been accused of slander, yet I’ve been slandered. I want to thank you for stopping by and checking me out. Thus giving me the benefit of the doubt. I run a clean site here. FYI, the slandering has been going on since that person started, as all the other bloggers have been called pigs, liars, you name it. I could go on and on, but I’m not going to. Water under the bridge. I’m not going to have my site disrupted by the like. I truly hate that the juvenile antics started up on BS’s blog. What a shame. I do believe as he gets accustomed to blogging and a moderator is put in place that things will settle down. I fully intend to read the posts, but think I will steer clear of the commenting. I’m not sure about the Judge thing, so I will refrain from commenting on it.
Hey Talking 2 Much! Welcome!!!
Thank you for coming by to check my site out. No slamming here. I agree the name calling has been atrocious. I have decided from this day forward to let it show for what it is. If that person is the only person doing so, well, it speaks for itself. I’m not a trash blogger. I’m not going to be brought down to that level.
Both of you are welcome here, please feel free to join in at any time.
Thank you for the welcome.
Thank you so much for the welcome, I will stop by often for sure. I find this to be a calm blog and filled with nice people.
I don;t have alot of time right now sadly but hope to soon.
nice reading you all, take take.
I truly meant the welcome to you both and I’m glad to have you.
talking2much, you chose the right blog that’s for sure. My favorite women (and the odd man) are right here on this site. Nice to have you.
niecey, Again, I must commend you for taking the high road. I really appreciate how you do not stoop to the level that the “other blog” does.
What has been amazing to me is that he continues to implicate you in starting this “war” by writing your blog about voting for who you want.
Now, they are questioning your Christianity and nothing makes me madder than that. He even welcomed a new blogger by saying he is just not used to all this name calling going on and that he was not brought up that way. Well, he may of not been brought up that way, but he sure knows how to do some ugly name calling now!
His theory on this is that it is just a few jealous bloggers making all these posts up. My theory is that it is a lot of bloggers that have had similar experiences and his bad behavior is catching up to him.
He has hurt many ladies feelings by his inappropriate replies to their comments and opinions on his blog. Men can call each other every word in the book and still share a beer at the end of the day. Not a women…..you call her a turd, pig, tart, etc., etc. and she will hold a grudge forever or at least for a long time. I think all the ladies he has insulted are coming back to kick him in the rear!!!
The last point I have is that he must feel some guilt about the voting. I have looked and looked and can not find his post entitled “Vote for Me”, hmmmm wonder where it went? I had a feeling that it might go POOF, so I’m glad I kept a filed copy.
I just hope that hope that he gets a grip and starts setting a kinder tone at his blog. If he and his bloggers would move on and quit talking about everyone, so would everyone else. I would have never made this comment had I not read the nasty comments about you.
And, he also takes every opportunity to slam Boston and Bees Knees. In fact, he has used their names to do the “cute” little combine 2 words game he loves to do. I am personally greatly offended by what he did to Bostons name as it includes the very dirty curse word bast**d. She did nothing but add great comments to his blog and state her opinion on this one.
And Bees, maybe you should send him back his leaves or we can take up a collection to send him the amount it cost to send it to Canada. He moans and cries about that every chance he gets!
Sorry for another long one. But, you are one of the most fair blog owners out there. And I know that no one here has anything to do with BS problems. I just want you to be left alone so you continue doing your great work!
Hey Noel! Thank you, but I think it’s pretty much over. The last derogatory statements brought to my attention were from yesterday, so it’s a new day today. Let’s move on. I appreciate your support and your defense of me. It means a great deal to me, but as I said today is a new day. If there was anything said today, I don’t know, but I’ve been tending to the site and getting caught up. I’ve a new thread. Come join us.

I’m going to do my work anyway. You are very kind.
Noel, One more thing, someone brought to my attention some of what you were talking about. Don’t worry about it. I would just consider the source. I’m not worried about it. I know who I am, and that’s what’s most important. Come join us at the new post.
HA HA HA!!! Thanks Noel. If I could find the stupid thing I would return it. All of the snivelling and whining is exactly what he does best. And yes, filthy name calling too. He is not worth wasting a second on however. You’re with far better people here.
