Blogging On Caylee’s Case…………

Now I’ve only been blogging since September. I started with Caylee’s case. Like many others it was riveting to me, and so bizarre, with such a beautiful little girl at the center of all of the terrible controversy. All of us prayed that Caylee would be found and many of us hoped and prayed she would have been found alive. We knew in our guts she wasn’t, but in our hearts we would rather that have been the case. I don’t know about you, but the morning the reports went across the news that the remains were found and were most likely Caylee’s, it broke my heart. I found myself crying and saying aloud, I’m so sorry baby girl, I sooo wanted to be wrong. I have followed other cases in the past of missing persons and missing children. I always hope they will be found alive, and most of the time, sadly they are not. Usually it wasn’t that your prayers were just unanswered, it’s just that by the time you heard about it, their fate had already been sealed. What happened to them, already happened. Sometimes our prayers were right on time and they are found alive and unharmed. These cases break your heart and we all want to do something to stop this from happening. Some of us choose to support groups like TES, some of us volunteer to search, some of us give what we have, and for some the best they can give is their prayers. Bottom line is everyone does give something, even if what they give is that they noticed a child in need in their area and they reached out. No matter what every one of us were affected by this case. I myself have been affected by this case and many others. There is just too much of this going on in our world today and there is no sense in it. There seems to be a terrible disregard for life in our society today. Not that there hasn’t always been crime, because it dates back to the beginning of time. There just seems to be so much more of it. The moral values in our society have by and large gone in the toilet. All of this has to do with the rejection of God in our society. With all of that said, I have noticed that it carries much further than one would like to admit. When you follow a case like this one, it will mess with your mind. You do have to take breaks and walk away for a time, here and there. You do have to live your life and not forget everyone and everything around you, but I think most of us do take breaks and live our lives.

The problem is that so many times in these cases emotions run high, and when people disagree it can become heated. That’s really not necessary. It absolutely serves no good purpose whatsoever. Whether someone posts a lot or a little, really doesn’t matter. We all have something to say. I blog on this case and I’ve blogged on some others. Still do. I also blog on other subjects. Sometimes it’s necessary, at least for me, to shift to something positive for a time. The thing is that since a few months into this case there has been a great deal of mud slinging on the blogs at other bloggers. It seems that if someone doesn’t like something someone else said they go on a rampage and start the personal attacks, which has nothing to do with this forum. What really bothers me is the people that do most of the attacking always carry on about how people don’t like what they say and so they attack them, and they have the right to their opinion, don’t like it, don’t read it. The thing is that is correct. So why are you attacking someone else for their opinion on their own blog??? Don’t like it? Don’t read it. What’s even worse is the attacks at each other are tagged with Caylee’s name. It’s not just one person doing it either. How disrespectful to Caylee Anthony’s memory is it, when someone tags her name to an attack on someone else that has nothing to do with her or her case??? There have even been a few folks that tag her name to posts that have nothing to do with her or her case at all, totally about something else, and trust me they do it on the Haleigh Cummings forum and others too. It’s disgusting! You don’t tag a missing or murdered child’s name to something that has nothing to do with that child or their case. Actually that goes for anything or anyone. Your tags are supposed to represent your content. Categories as well. You don’t tag a post to something that has nothing to do with it just to get more views. I don’t care if I get 10 views or no views or whatever, if it has nothing to do with the case or the child then it won’t be tagged to that forum.

Now with all that said, I have been told by someone who blogged for a long time and quit that some people blog just to start trouble. Some view it as a game that they play just to see who they can start trouble with. They don’t take any subject seriously, and it’s all a game. That is very obvious in some. But why not pick a not so serious subject to do that with??? Don’t get me wrong, it’s not wrong to get a little off subject and ask how others are doing or even cut up a little bit, most especially when you are all getting really up tight, as it’s hard not to on a subject like this one. The thing is when the whole post is more about something that has nothing to do with the subject matter, and the whole thing is totally off topic. I’m not here just to bash a whole bunch of people and this post wasn’t intended to start fights, but to end them. There is no sense in it. We have had everything from spammers to personal attacking to you name it, and there is no sense in this. Since I started getting personally attacked I went from being protected from 20 spam comments in my spam filter to almost 1000 to date. The period that it jumped, only 6 months. Speaking of spam. We have had a few really troubled souls whose only mission is to go from blog to blog and make false statements and attacking the intelligence of others. There has even been one or two that have a platform against Nancy Grace, and insight a movement that states she is a murderer. Folks to me Nancy G. is a tabloid journalist, and she’s far from right in many instances, but she’s not a murderer. Melinda Duckett was not killed by Nancy G. Melinda committed suicide because when LE searched her home they found all of Trenton’s belongings, including his sonogram pictures in the garbage in the garage. The walls had suspicious stains painted over, and once those things are painted over they cannot be retrieved. She was very unstable. She had a restraining order against Josh as she had a myspace message where Josh allegedly threatened her and Trenton, and after her death LE found that she had hacked into Josh’s myspace and sent the message to herself. They were closing in on her as all signs pointed to her and no one else and that’s why she killed herself. I’m not a Nancy Grace fan, but I am a fan of the truth. She’s not the only journalist that has a tabloid style either.

Before I close on this post, there is one more point I would like to cover. The Anthonys. Many maintain that they are so bitter because of the way folks feel about the Anthonys. If you want to have the utmost in compassion for the Anthonys that is your right, but many people have some very good reasons why they do not, and that is their right. Now there is no doubt that a few are just using the Anthonys as a platform to attack and don’t even believe what they say themselves. The thing is based on the evidence there are many that once had compassion for the Anthonys and when they read all of the evidence and got a clearer picture, watched their rudeness in the depos, and the way they constantly shift positions, all in the name of more money. The compassion flew out of the window! The bass boat they bought from donated money could have been used more than a couple of times already and they have no intention of searching. It’s a fishing boat, it cannot be used to search. That donated money just made it where George and Dennis can go fishing more. Could you set yourself for life off of a tragedy in your family and be happy with it??? Those people went from financial ruin to fame and glory with this case. They are associated with criminals and they are milking this case for all that they can get so that they never have to work again. Could you eat crab puffs and dine at “the Ritz” the day your grandbaby’s remains were found, having meals at $100 and up per meal, while investigators are on their hands and knees finding every piece of your grandbaby in the muck. Could you even eat??? They could and they were there as clients of ABC/Disney, and they were there with all of the shady characters in this case. Their daughter was at the jail and had been having a panic attack and they flew in from California to have the famous “dinner at the Ritz”. They never even went to see her. They have a right to love their daughter, and they have a right to stand behind her, but they don’t have the right to sell Caylee’s life and committ crimes all in the name of being set for life. They are living off of donated money and this has been going on for almost a year now. Great people. Right??? They are not above the law. So you see, many have very good reasons why they don’t care for the Anthonys. For those of you who feel that the Anthonys are being treated unfairly, that is your right. Blog about it, but subtract the attacks on those that disagree with you and instead shoot for using facts to state your case. You can certainly do that, and you will have your platform. For those who disagree with you, they have their platform with very good reasons for feeling that way. Maybe if we cut the attacking of each other and focus on the facts of the case, we might come up with solutions for making a difference. If we were all the same the world would be a very drab and boring place. We are all unique. I personally choose to follow this case for the same reason I have followed and am following other cases, and that is I’m hoping to learn something about what causes this, so maybe we can stop it from happening. In every tragedy there is something to be learned. We have to fix the evil among us that causes these things to happen. Think about it.
